Summary: We are in search of a stellar Residential Community Leader to direct the efforts of the Leasing Team and all activities associated with the daily operations of a residential community comprised of 50 luxury lifestyle units all the while driving an unsurpassed level of customer service that ensures retention and aligns with the owner’s established vision and standards. This individual should have a demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and resolve all site-related issues; knowledge of residential management, fair housing agency regulations, related terminology, budgeting/forecasting; ability to lead, motivate and incentivize the leasing team as well as participate as an active team member; and be fully committed to building a highly desirable community in which all residents are proud to share their address!
Primary Responsibilities:
Perpetuate an interactive rapport with all tenants.
Oversee rental/leasing process from the search of quality residents to background checks to final rental agreement terms.
Ensure the execution of appropriate events and activities that are aligned with the residents’ interests and lifestyles to promote a strong sense of community and a shared belonging.
Drive marketing and communication initiatives to ensure properties are show cased as highly-desirable within the greater rental area.
Be proactive with the maintenance of facilities to minimize problems and ensure that environments are clean, safe and perpetuate the warmth and comfort of “being home”.
Ensure processes and procedures are highly responsive to meet the needs and requests of residents.
Develop, maintain and manage operating budget; track and report variances.
Oversee all financial activities, reports, rent deposits, invoice processing, etc.
Effectively lead, build, motivate and develop all members of the Leasing Team.
Manage simultaneous projects/tasks and other requests from senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in residential community management.
Lease-up experience preferred.
Demonstrated success in this capacity.
Knowledge of fair housing regulations and related terminology.
Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).
Solid relationship building and fostering skills.
Strong financial acumen and working knowledge of accounting processes.
Adept at effectively leading and developing people, processes, and procedures.
Good computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Onesite/Real Page.
